His journey began at Elon University, where he studied finance on a football scholarship. After graduating, he stepped onto Wall Street, working at JP Morgan and managing risk across fixed income and derivatives. His role wasn’t just about numbers—it was about understanding market movements, making high-stakes decisions, and ensuring that billions of dollars in investment banking assets were protected and positioned for growth. His expertise took him beyond U.S. markets, as he trained a team in Mumbai, India, to oversee critical risk management systems.

Jameel’s approach to investing has been shaped by some of the best minds in the industry, including financial mentors who have influenced his trading philosophy. Along the way, he earned top industry certifications, including the Series 7, Series 63, and Chartered Market Technician (CMT), further deepening his expertise in market analysis.
